I Like The Cut Of Your Jib

Very good movie. Though i have to say that i found it funny that Quintin took it upon himself to rewrite history.

The best character in the whole movie was the German investigator Col. Hans Landa. This guy is freakin awesome in this movie. (By the way “this guy”s name is Christoph Waltz.) He’s funny, heartless, creepy… pretty much everything you would want in a German officer from WWII.

Brad Pitt is great as Lt. Aldo Raine, the Nazi hating, swastika carving leader of the Inglorioius Bastards. I have alway felt that Brad Pitt is one of the most under rated actors in the biz. He may be a box ofice hit, but where are the oscars?

Inglorious Bastards, worth the price of addmission.

Wow.  This movie was intense.  I have to admit, it was kinda hard to watch.  At the same time it was hard to turn away. 

It deals with the interesting concept of human interaction with an alien race that has essentially been stranded on earth without the higher eschelon of their society.  It explores both the good and bad side of human nature in such a situation, but does it 20 years after the fact.

I thought the story was well thought out, well written and well told.  The cast does a great job, especially since i don’t think i know a single one of their names. 

All in all it was a really good movie, though i don’t think i could sit through it again; it’s just too intense.
