I Like The Cut Of Your Jib

First of all, these guys are playin’ some pong!  But that’s not the point.  The blue player wins a big point, and let’s the other guy know. Big time! It’s like a scene from Family Guy, but in real life.  I wish i had this guy’s name and address because I’d like to send him a giant golden plaque that says: “For the excessivness of your celebration, I’d like to say I LIKE THE CUT OF YOUR JIB, sir.”

As my brother said when he forwarded me this video ( i was completely unaware this even took place unfortunately), “this guy is the essence of class and humility.  He used his platform to be thankful and give praise”. So true. LET’S GO SPURS!

I had the disticnt pleasure of visiting the new cowboys stadium over the weekend.  It is awesome! 

I’m sure you’ve heard, as i had, about the “largest LCD screen ever created”.  Well the rumors and hype are true.  The picture to the left is taken on my iphone.  As you can see we are near the mid-section of the stadium, and the screen is still like watching a big screen in your livingroom.  At the top of the stadium, where my dad’s season tickets are, it’s still just as big.  It’s almost as if it grows as you go higher. 

The whole stadium is setup really great.  With built in standing room at the ends of the stadium, and the first ever field level luxury boxes (not sure i’d want to stare at the asses of the sideline all game, but still kinda cool), and fully  retractable glass doors at the ends of the stadium, this is one hell of a stadium.

One problem is the accoustics.  The reverb is bad.  You can’t hardly understand what the announcer on the loud-speaker is saying.  I suspect it won’t be long until this is fixed. 

If you can make it to a game this year, i would say go for it, you won’t be disapointed (with the stadium at least).
