I Like The Cut Of Your Jib

I just heard this discussed on the radio and hopped on Google to verify.  

Well i am very happy to say that it is true, the Coen Brothers are remaking “True Grit”.  I grew up watching watching this movie.  If you haven’t seen it, it follows a know it all 16 girl who finds her self mixed up and being held prisoner by outlaws.  On their trail is Rooster Cogburn (John Wayne), an eye patch wearing rum dinking law man who is relutant but willing to help the girl.

The movie culminates in an open field where Rooster is face to face with four outlaws, and utter the famous line, “Fill your hands you son of a bitch!”.  Luckily someone has already posted the scene on youtube.  enjoy.

Awesome Movie!  Surprisingly funny at parts, plus I needed a good plot twister.  I’ve gotten pretty bored lately with the same old predictable blockbusters.  This movie will keep you on your toes.  They let you think you’ve figured it out, and then completely twist it around on you.  I loved every minute of it.  The cast does such a good job too.  You really connect with the characters.

Plot goes a little something like this;  The Brothers Bloom are orphans turned con-men. One is the mastermind (Mark Ruffalo) the other is the reluctant accomplice, scarred by an experience conning as a youth (Adrien Brody).  One wants out the other is torn by his desire to con and his desire to see his brother happy.  Mix with one rich, hobby collecting mark (Rachel Weiz) and one explosives enthusiast (Rinko Kinkuchi)  and an entertaining chaos ensues…

If you are looking for a good Netflix or rainy day Blockbuster choice I would definitely recommend this movie.
